Nick Leonard

Managing Director

Nick leads the Ruder Finn office in London. He is in charge of our strategy and positioning, serves on Ruder Finn’s global leadership team, and provides senior counsel to our clients. He has twenty years’ communications experience spanning technology, healthcare and internal communications.

Alex Monaghan

Commercial Director

Alex has over 25 years' experience with pharmaceutical companies and international communication agencies. Alex is a specialist in marketing communications, from pre- to post-launch, line extensions and product life-cycle management. He has worked on medical education and PR programmes for pharmaceutical, biotech, device, vaccine and diagnostic manufacturers.

Alison Denham

HR Director

Alison’s remit is HR and operations. She has spent more than 30 years working in people and business development both for consultancies and in house. Her experience ranges from healthcare PR through to change communications, and crisis and issues management.

Andrew Pate

Head Designer

With over 25 years' experience in design and art direction, Andrew is responsible for the creation of brand and design concepts. He interprets briefs and research to develop creative solutions for a range of clients across the public, private and charity sectors. Andrew specialises in brand development and print design.

Charlotte Worrall

Junior Account Executive

Charlotte joined Ruder Finn in January 2017 on the graduate programme. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Print Journalism and a Master’s degree in Science Journalism, with a particular interest in healthcare. Charlotte works in the areas of cardiology, infectious diseases and oncology.

Daryl Bleach


Electrician turned front-end developer, Daryl joined Ruder Finn from start-up Invest-Up. He has six years’ experience of coding across all digital products; apps, games (including development of fantasy sports), web and multimedia content embedding.

Donna Wright

Senior Account Director

Donna has worked in healthcare communications for over ten years across many therapeutic areas including oncology, cardiology, rheumatology, haematology, and corporate health communications. She has built strong relationships with the media and advocacy landscape via her roles both in agency and in-house at a charity.

Emily Hughes

Senior Account Manager

Emily is dedicated to internal communications and delivers creative, innovative and focussed programmes to large and diverse audiences. Emily has over eight years’ experience from media relations to employee engagement, across a variety of sectors.

Emma Morton

Senior Media Strategist

Former national newspaper journalist Emma leads Ruder Finn UK’s media team. She focuses on strategic client counsel, identifying and securing print, digital and broadcast coverage opportunities in the UK and Europe plus media partnerships: from healthcare to travel and tech.

Fern Hugill

Account Manager

As a Senior Account Executive in the Technology team, Fern manages the day-to-day press office activities across her clients. Fern’s career strengths are content writing for B2B brands, social media strategies, event management and media relations within the technology industry.

Guto Araujo

Digital Account Manager

Guto has over ten years' experience in digital, managing the delivery of multi-discipline projects. Guto has delivered a broad range of projects including web builds, ATL campaigns, iOS, content/editorial programmes, strategy and social media.

Hannah Rafferty

Senior Account Manager

Hannah has six years' experience in B2B PR and marketing, working with a range of companies in the technology, security, start-up, digital, media and investor markets.

Imogen Lyons

Senior Account Manager

Imogen has four years’ agency experience, having joined Ruder Finn as a graduate. With a background in corporate PR, Imogen is adept in fast paced environments, and the delivery of engaging campaigns to both external and internal audiences.

Jem Gregory

Account Director

Jem is an Account Director in the Internal Communications team. She has ten years’ experience creating internal communication campaigns and employee engagement strategies that align with company goals and values. Before joining Ruder Finn she worked in-house across the public, corporate and charity sectors.

Jessica Lowrie

Senior Account Manager

Jessica started off at Ruder Finn on the graduate programme and since then she has worked on a broad range of healthcare accounts; global, EU and UK. Jessica has a particular interest in public health and disease awareness programmes.

Josie Fisher

Senior Account Manager

Josie joined Ruder Finn over five years ago. During this time she’s worked across several disease areas from neurology to infectious diseases. She holds a Master’s degree in Drug Discovery and has experience working in cardiovascular gastrointestinal research.

Katy Compton-Bishop

Head of Healthcare

Katy is Head of Healthcare. With over 20 years’ experience, Katy has been responsible for leading largescale brand and disease awareness campaigns working with major pharmaceutical companies and NGOs across multiple geographies and therapy areas.

Laura Brasey


Laura is a graphic designer who grew up in France and studied in Milan to pursue her passion for design and languages. Laura then completed a Master’s degree in Communication Design at Central Saint Martins in London. Laura has worked at design agencies focusing on branding, from logo design and brand identity to digital design and packaging.

Rebecca Hibble


Bex is a Director in the Healthcare team. She is responsible for the creation and implementation of effective, targeted healthcare communications activities. With over 10 years’ experience, she has worked on award-winning campaigns across a range of therapy areas, including oncology, rheumatology, cardiology and vaccines.

Robin Grainger

Director of Connected Communications

Robin is Ruder Finn’s integration expert. He draws on 17 years’ experience working with technology companies to find new ways our teams can work together to create more impactful communications campaigns. He’s also our point person for issues and reputation management in Europe.

Sarah Brennan


Sarah is a Director in the Healthcare team. She leads integrated communications programmes for several of the company’s largest healthcare and consumer health clients. She has been with Ruder Finn for 9 years.

Sarah Moodie

Senior Account Manager

Sarah is a Senior Account Manager in the healthcare team with expertise in consumer healthcare, including blogger engagement, celebrity ambassador engagement, traditional media and social media activation. She also has considerable ethical pharma experience in areas including cardiology, infectious diseases and vaccines.

Shelley Facius

Head of Technology

Shelley Facius is Head of Technology at Ruder Finn, with over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, B2B and technology markets. She was a director at Hill & Knowlton (now H+K Strategies), PR Director at Oracle and also had her own consultancy, Juice PR.

Sophie Reid

Senior Account Executive

Sophie is a Senior Account Executive that started at Ruder Finn on the graduate programme. She works in the Healthcare team across a range of UK and EU clients. She has a degree in Biochemistry and a keen interest in all things health and disease related.

Tracey Bowditch

Senior Account Director

Tracey Bowditch is a Senior Account Director in the Technology team. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing corporate, B2B and financial communication strategies. Specialising in the technology, media and digital sectors, Tracey has worked with global brands and fast-growth start-ups.

Natalie Harrison

Operations Manager

Natalie has a background in office management and operations. She holds a CIPD certificate in HR practice and is studying for a social science degree with the Open University.

Shelley Facius

Head of Technology

Shelley Facius is Head of Technology at Ruder Finn, with over 20 years’ experience in corporate communications, B2B and technology markets. She was a director at Hill & Knowlton (now H+K Strategies), PR Director at Oracle and also had her own consultancy, Juice PR.

Hannah Nicol


Hannah joined Ruder Finn as a trainee and has 12 years' consultancy experience. She was one of the first consultants in our Internal Communications practice, and has also worked with corporate and technology brands in the UK and globally on a range of communications engagements.

Gemma Hart

Head of Internal Communications

Gemma Hart is Head of Internal Communications. Her passion is internal and change communications and she provides strategic client counsel, working with leaders to create a better internal customer experience for their people. She has over 20 years’ experience of in-house and agency communications with companies including Novartis, GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi and SABMiller.

Edward Oliver

Junior Account Executive

Edward is a Junior Account Executive. He works on the healthcare team on a range of accounts with a particular interest in immunology and neurology. He has a scientific background and recently graduated with a degree in Medical Physiology and Therapeutics (a biomedical degree).
