Objectives

Ruder Finn was engaged to build upon NextWave’s exiting reputation in the UK business and national media to position the company as a leading provider of mobile multimedia solutions within the UK business press.

NextWave announced at Mobile World Congress in 2008 that alongside leading operators, it would be launching a pilot of its mobile TV technology in west London to trial the business benefits of the solution: which promises to deliver cheaper, better and faster mobile TV to the masses.

Working alongside the Ruder Finn global team, who were onsite at the event with NextWave, Ruder Finn UK conducted extensive sell-in to top-tier media titles, highlighting the business benefits of NextWave’s model for mobile TV compared to others in the industry, and also explaining the benefits to London consumers of taking part in this trial and what they could expect.
