Focus on Rosacea: blogger hangout


Ruder Finn partnered with Galderma and the leading blogger network for parents – Tots 100 – to engage influential skincare/lifestyle bloggers and gauge their insights on the key issues that affect people with rosacea.

The blogger roundtable was an opportunity to share experiences about the impact of the disease on people’s lives and discuss the condition and vast array of possible treatments on offer today with leading authority Dr Ellie Cannon.

The event provided a unique opportunity to hear the bloggers’ personal experiences first-hand and together understand how Galderma can support and educate others about rosacea using online channels.  All attendees were encouraged to share their personal stories with their peers providing useful insights on the condition.

  • 13 bloggers attended the event, eight of whom attended in person and five attended via Google Hangout.
  • The campaign secured 6 blog posts and gained significant Twitter coverage from bloggers who attended the event reaching an audience of over 60,000 followers on the day.
  • Importantly, it also provided an engaged audience and a highly focused advocacy panel for future collaboration around disease awareness initiatives.
