Global PR and Thought Leadership for Irdeto

For over five years Ruder Finn led and coordinated a global PR programme for cyber and content security leader Irdeto, spanning both earned and paid media.

During that time we were responsible for thought leadership, events management, press office management, advertorial placement, sponsorship, industry awards and analyst relations support.

Working as an extension of Irdeto’s team, we consistently ensured the client’s goals were met or exceeded, delivering the campaigns, research reports, media briefings and spokesperson opportunities they needed at the right time.

At the start of 2017 we commissioned one of the largest surveys looking at Global Consumer Piracy with YouGov that included 30 countries and over 25,000 consumers. We drafted and distributed the results and prepared a global press release covering all results, alongside individual press releases for the U.S., Russia, India, LATAM, MENA and China. We also used the global piracy survey results and release to secure briefings at events from Cable Congress in Brussels and CABSAT in MENA, to CES in the U.S.

As a result of our activity, we secured a total of 133 pieces of national and trade coverage globally with a reach of over 7 million including the BBC, Daily Mail, Mirror, CNet, The Register and Broadband TV News.
