Managing Director

As Managing Director of Ruder Finn UK, Nick is responsible for the growth and development of the UK business as well as providing strategic counsel for the agency’s clients.

Nick joined Ruder Finn from a corporate and technology agency, where as MD he worked with the agency’s major clients including major household names and fast-growing challenger brands. During this time he consulted on both internal and external communications campaigns across EMEA, and led strategic and co-ordination activity across both primary and emerging markets.

Prior to this he held the role of VP Strategy (Europe) for an international PR agency spanning 27 international markets across five continents.

Judith Cranford

Judith Cranford
Managing Director of Health, Advocacy & Alliance Development

Judith works with team members in London and colleagues worldwide to build on Ruder Finn’s strong footprint in the areas of pharmaceutical/life sciences, global advocacy, public affairs and, increasingly, market access and digital health. Her background spans more than 20 years in healthcare communications and advocacy, has held key management roles in both consultancies and health-related NGOs.

Judith’s national, pan-European and global experience spans a wide range of therapeutic areas and includes working with many leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, as well as a breadth of NGOs, including scientific and patient organisations.  Her advocacy credentials are complemented by her background across the communications platform and include strategic counsel, issues management, disease awareness, media relations, corporate and brand positioning.

Hugh McKinney

Hugh McKinney
Head of Public Affairs

Hugh specialises in political issues management and has worked on a wide variety of high profile national and international campaigns for commercial and other clients. He works closely with MPs of all parties, Select Committee members, All Party Groups and Peers. He establishes effective communications between clients and Parliamentarians. He himself worked for many years in the UK Parliament.

Alison has more than 18 years' public relations experience. Her current role at Ruder Finn is to ensure the delivery of high quality client services and equip account handlers with the skills and knowledge necessary to fulfill their potential and meet client expectations.

Becky McMichael

Becky McMichael
Head of Technology and Corporate Practice

From 12 years of analyst relations to crisis and issues management; digital campaigns to CSR programmes; writing whitepapers to writing Davos speeches and all manner of trade, business and broadcast media relations in between - Becky’s career can be distilled into two main achievements – achieving outstanding results and strong client relationships. 

Becky has the ability to take a client’s complex message and simplify it for all manner of audiences and her “something out of nothing” philosophy means she’ll get results no matter how complicated or dry the story.  Becky is a self confessed geek, blogger, media obsessive and a genuine partner to her clients and teams alike.  

Becky is currently on maternity leave.
