Changing perspective
We’ve all seen this week’s headlines about the snow. But it’s not just snow, it’s SNOW, in fact it is, apparently, the worst snow in two decades. Or is it? According to my nine-year-old, it’s “the best snow ever”. It’s a funny old thing, perspective. The snow is good or bad, best or worst depending on your perspective.
In the Alps, 1.5metres of snow is considered a good thing, in London, six inches is a bad thing. So as the country grinds to a halt, perhaps we should try changing our perspective. Snowball fight anyone?

Its amazing how it does seem to grind to a halt in extreme weather…I vaguely remember the roads melting a couple fo summers ago!
But what is more suprising is how so many firms aren’t prepared for it, wiuth staff unable to work effectiverly at home. A number of RF’ers weren’t able to get in on Monday but were all able to work at home just as easily as if they were in the office.
